About the Role

Crescens is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Active Directory to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based Active Directory infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation: Design and implement cloud-based Active Directory infrastructure, including Amazon AWS Active Directory and integration with external enterprise AD domains and services.
  • Administration and Troubleshooting: Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory services at an enterprise level, including MS AD Local and Domain group policy, MS AD and Linux host integration, and Amazon AWS IAM user, group, and role design.
  • Cloud Architecture and Strategy: Research, design, develop, and implement cloud network architecture and strategy, including building highly scalable and highly available solutions deployed on public clouds and/or hybrid environments.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network and security teams, to ensure seamless cloud on-boarding and migrations. Communicate cloud standards and security best practices to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Problem-Solving and Documentation: Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and document detailed designs.
Requirements
  • Expert-Level Understanding: Expert-level understanding of Microsoft Active Directory services design, implementation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting at an enterprise level.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Experience: Experience with cloud infrastructure components, including compute, storage, load balancing, network management, and monitoring.
  • Automation and Scripting: Knowledge of automation/scripting, including definition of automated processes and developing supporting infrastructure as Code.
  • Strong Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, including the ability to communicate cloud standards and security best practices to technical and non-technical audiences.
