Terex is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy machinery and equipment.Salary:
The estimated salary range for this position is $24-$34 per hour, depending on experience.Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual with a passion for mechanics and maintenance. As a Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic, you will work on a wide array of equipment, including truck-mounted aerial platforms, digger derricks, and cranes. Your responsibilities will include:- Inspecting equipment used by customers
- Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical systems
- Maintaining and repairing heavy machinery and equipment
- Conveying information to Terex team members as appropriate
- Representing Terex at trade shows and coordinating business development activities
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A basic set of mechanical tools (sockets, wrenches, and battery-operated impact gun)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working with heavy machinery and/or utility equipment
