Job Summary and Qualifications
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurses (RNs) provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and offer advice and emotional support to patients and their families.

RNs must exercise independent and significant judgment in delivering a wide range of services.

As directed by a physician, RNs also administer medications and treatments. What you will do in this role:
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all nursing care.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Administer medications and IV conscious sedation under physician's direction.
• Scrub and assist the physician during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies.
• Provide accurate and timely nursing documentation in MediTech and Camtronics.
• Record, monitor, and demonstrate understanding of hemodynamic measurements and valve areas.

What qualifications you will need:


• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current Nursing (RN) licensure by the KY Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
