Job Summary

As a Water Damage Technician at Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Lee's Summit - Belton, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional restoration services to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in retaining customers by fulfilling the company's obligations through the timely and effective delivery of restoration services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Water Damage Mitigation and Restoration Services: Effectively execute all water damage mitigation and restoration services offered by the company.
  • Communicate Effectively with Customers: Develop strong communication skills to interact with customers, understand their needs, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain Equipment and Vehicles: Perform basic equipment maintenance and ensure the company vehicles are well-maintained, stocked with necessary tools, materials, and supplies.
  • Inspect Completed Work: Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure it meets the company's standards.
  • Complete Daily Logs and Work Orders: Accurately complete the technician's daily log and work orders to maintain a record of activities.
  • Document Restoration Work: Complete appropriate restoration documentation to ensure accurate records of services provided.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of related supplies and ensure they are stocked and readily available.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma (or equivalent) and relevant experience in water damage restoration.
  • WRT Certification: Water restoration technician certification and experience.
  • Mathematical Skills: Adequate math skills to apply learned techniques to determine equipment type and number of units.
  • Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in using computers, email, and portable devices to report and record daily activity.
  • Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Certification in performing appropriate services, such as water mitigation and mold remediation.
