About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Covenant Living. As a key member of our dining services department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities
  • Operate the dishwashing machine and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Assist in the maintenance of dish room and equipment, adhering to standard procedures.
  • Deliver clean water pitchers to nursing stations and transport carts to and from dining areas.
  • Monitor and record water temperatures and cleaning compound usage.
  • Perform cleaning assignments as directed and maintain cleanliness in all work areas, equipment, and appliances.
  • Deliver food requests to stations as needed and keep all kitchen work areas and dining rooms clear of dirty dishes.
  • Assist in the transportation of residents in case of fire, disaster, or emergency evacuation.
Requirements
  • Previous relevant experience required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, oral and written, with residents, family members, and staff required.
