- Master's degree in counseling or related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid state license or certification as a Mental Health Counselor/Therapist.
- Proven experience providing therapy and counseling services to individuals with mental health conditions.
- Strong knowledge of various therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to establish trust and rapport with diverse populations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records systems.
- Flexibility to accommodate varying work hours and meet the needs of clients.
- Experience working in a private practice or healthcare setting.
- Specialization or additional training in specific areas such as trauma, substance abuse, child and adolescent counseling, or couples therapy.
- Bilingual proficiency in languages commonly spoken by the local community.
