We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients, and ensure their comfort.
- Complete all paperwork and submit images to a radiologist in a timely manner.
- Review CT's to ensure optimum quality.
- IEMA license and ARRT Registered required.
- Certification or Associate's degree in Radiology from an accredited program.
- CPR Certification required; Advanced CT Certification required.
- Previous CT Technologist experience - at least 5 years preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills required.
