- Work collaboratively with administrative staff to schedule hygiene patients efficiently.
- Accurately chart each patient's periodontal health and provide detailed treatment plans.
- Counsel patients on oral health, including the role of nutrition and tobacco.
- Associate degree in Dental Hygiene.
- Minimum 2 years of current experience required.
- Michigan Dental Hygiene license required.
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
- Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred.
- Good interpretation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and electronic healthcare systems software.
- Previous travel experience highly preferred.
As a Dental Hygienist at Family Health Center, you will work in a clinical dental setting, sometimes in a fast-paced environment or during irregular hours. You will be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and dress in black scrubs (top and bottom). Possible weekend work may be required.
Please note that the Flu and COVID-19 vaccines are minimum work requirements.
