Job Title: Clinical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at Roots Therapeutic Specialty Services. As a Clinical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing premium-level treatment services to our patients, including clinical treatment, rehab therapies, and other complementary services.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat individuals for a variety of psychological, behavioral, relational, and other social-emotional delays and disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and a holistic approach.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
  • Utilize electronic health records (EHR) system for scheduling, documentation, and patient record management.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Master of Science in Psychology, Master of Clinical Social Work, Master of Arts in Counseling, or other related degree.
  • Licensed by the State of Michigan.
  • Specialized training in trauma/psychosomatic treatment, play therapy, or related specialty areas.
  • Experience working with challenging populations/disorders/diagnoses.
  • Commitment to interdisciplinary work and a holistic treatment approach.
