We are seeking a skilled FMS Acquisition Specialist to support our federal program based out of Fort Belvoir, VA. This role offers a hybrid environment allowing 3 days per week to be worked remotely.

Job Description

This position requires the ability to execute Foreign Military Sales acquisition management across an entire product line, coordinate products and taskings across the acquisition process and life cycle phases, and assist with preparation and staffing Milestone documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Execute Foreign Military Sales acquisition management across an entire product line
  • Coordinate products and taskings across the acquisition process and life cycle phases
  • Assist with preparation and staffing Milestone documentation
  • Determine contracting strategy, prepare contracting documents, and coordinate activities with Army Contracting Command
  • Participate in product IPTs, test events, test reviews, and product demonstrations
  • Provide contract oversight for assigned products
  • Maintain and manage the program budget and master schedule
  • Prepare Supply Requests Packages to Defense Logistics Agency and manage transition of products from PM to DLA or Army Sustainment
  • Develop and draft Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans and other acquisition documents
  • Perform financial and status reporting and basic logistics activities
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and more than 4 years of experience, along with previous experience with FMS Case Management. Familiarity with Acquisition and Contracting documents, such as J&A, Source Selection Plans, PWS, IGCE, and D&F is also required.
