Senior Communications Specialist

Trustpoint.One is seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be organized, and have a strong attention to detail.

This is a 40 hour per week position with no flextime or weekend work available. The work schedule is 8:30am – 5pm Monday - Friday. The starting date is early December and the contract-to-hire position is for 3 months.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing communications with law firms and settlement claimants in a professional manner. They will also be responsible for performing complex reviews of documents to provide excellent customer service while maintaining the integrity of claims data.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and/or prior law firm experience and/or Paralegal Certificate and/or 2+ years of customer service experience. They will also possess strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to draft clear and concise emails and present questions that are pertinent to assignments.

The successful candidate will also have a strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and be able to perform tasks requiring high levels of analytical ability.

They will also be responsible for handling complex verbal and written communications from law firms and claimants concerning settlement inquires. They will also act as a brand ambassador to represent the firm in a positive manner through written and verbal communication.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for displaying courteous and professional dialogue whether through email or phone. They will also engage law firms and claimants by going the extra mile and providing outstanding customer service.

They will also record notes in program database according to the procedures for each project. They will also review calls or claims to provide information to the law firm, client, and other counsel outside the firm.

They will also review calls or claims submissions and apply completeness rules to determine completeness of required documentation. They will also review financial and/or medical records and apply complex methodology in order to value claims.

They will also research and gather additional information on financial and medical terminology. They will also prepare correspondence to communicate benefit determinations.
