St. John's Episcopal Hospital is seeking a skilled EEG Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

The EEG Technician will be responsible for conducting EEG tests, reviewing test results, and maintaining equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of neuroanatomy and experience working with EEG machinery.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct EEG tests to record brain wave activity
  • Review test results to detect brain wave disorders and identify interferences
  • Maintain EEG equipment and report any malfunctions
  • Prepare patients for testing by attaching electrodes and placing probes

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • EEG Certification
  • 3 months formal training in a hospital neurology lab or 3-6 months apprenticeship training
  • Knowledge of EEG machinery and equipment
  • Previous experience as an EEG Technician in a hospital preferred
  • Knowledge of neuroanatomy preferred

Benefits:

Per diem position with varying shifts and hours. Competitive hourly rate of $32.77.
