We are seeking a highly qualified Education Director to join our team at Healthy Kids Programs in Mamaroneck, NY.

Our mission is to provide high-quality educational programs that foster the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of young children.

Job Description

The Education Director will be responsible for leading our early childhood education program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing best practices in curriculum design and delivery. This role will also involve supervising teaching staff, managing day-to-day operations, and collaborating with other departments to achieve program goals.

Responsibilities:
  1. Curriculum Design and Implementation: Develop and implement comprehensive curricula that align with state and national standards, incorporating cutting-edge research and best practices in early childhood education.
  2. Staff Supervision and Support: Provide guidance, training, and coaching to teaching staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality educational programs.
  3. Program Operations: Oversee daily program operations, including scheduling, staffing, and logistics, to ensure smooth and efficient execution.
  4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards, maintaining accurate records and documentation as required.
  5. Community Engagement: Collaborate with local community organizations, schools, and government agencies to promote our programs and build partnerships that support the needs of families and young children.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in early childhood education, preferably in a leadership or director role.
  • Strong knowledge of child development theories, curriculum design principles, and instructional strategies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
