We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Surveyor to join our team in the City of Portland Oregon. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of surveying principles and practices, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to contribute to the development of urban infrastructure projects. As an Assistant Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting site surveys, preparing maps and reports, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project success.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct site surveys to gather data on land topography, boundaries, and other relevant features
  • Prepare accurate and detailed maps and reports to support project planning and execution
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in surveying or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated at $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
