PT Server

Job Summary:

The part-time server is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. He/she is also responsible for receiving and delivering guests' orders and collecting payment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide top-notch service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
• Receive and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collect payment from guests and process transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Upsell food and beverage items to guests, promoting hotel offerings.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including side-work duties and cash handling.
• Ensure accurate and efficient use of the point-of-sale system.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and maneuver in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling.
