As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursing staff and ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide guidance and oversight to nursing staff, ensuring that resident care requirements are met and care plans are created and updated as needed.
- Resident Care: Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to residents, their families, and unit staff, and ensuring that a safe and clean working environment is maintained.
- Communication: Relay information to residents and staff by answering questions and requests, and maintaining resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
- Documentation: Manage documentation of resident care services by auditing resident and department records.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a long-term care setting.
- Licensure: Must hold a valid RN license.
- Skills: Long-term care experience, basic computer skills, excellent communication skills, and strong team player.
