About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team in Newton, Massachusetts.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for performing breast imaging procedures, including mammography, ultrasound, wire localizations, ductograms, cyst aspiration, and core biopsies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures, including mammography, ultrasound, and other breast imaging modalities.
  • Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, explaining procedures and results in a clear and compassionate manner.
  • Participate in quality control tests and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, attending training sessions and workshops as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid Massachusetts license as a Radiologic Technologist in the category of Radiography.
  • Valid Massachusetts license in the category of Mammography.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • 2-3 years of experience as a radiologic technologist.
