Position Overview
Under the guidance of the Environmental Services Supervisor, the individual will be responsible for the daily upkeep and supply distribution in designated areas, adhering to the policies and procedures of the Environmental Services Department and Jefferson Health. The role involves interacting with patients and visitors of all ages, ensuring satisfaction through high-quality cleaning and professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned areas.
- Distribute necessary supplies as required.
- Engage with patients and visitors courteously to enhance their experience.
Qualifications
Experience:
- Prior experience in housekeeping is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Effective communication abilities.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Attention to detail in all tasks.
Employment Conditions
Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for individuals working in clinical settings. If not currently vaccinated, candidates must receive the vaccination prior to the hire date unless an approved medical or religious exemption is obtained.
