Cabinet Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled cabinet craftsman to join our team at Mack Studios. As a cabinet craftsman, you will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of custom cabinets and furniture.

About the Role

• Accurately construct various custom projects using hand tools and machinery.
• Read drawings and plan the sequence of operations to be performed.
• Set up and operate carpentry machinery to construct projects.
• Utilize hand tools to fabricate and repair high-grade furniture.
• Ensure materials match color, grain, or texture.
• Trim component parts of joints to ensure snug fit.
• Bores holes for insertion of screws or dowels.
• Glues, fits, and clamps parts together to form complete units.
• Sands and scrapes surfaces and joints to prepare articles for finishing.
• Repair high-grade articles of furniture, equipment, and fixtures.
• Install cabinetry components such as hinges, catches, drawer pulls, etc.
• Complete countertop fabrication in both Plastic Laminate and Solid Surface.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Cabinetry carpenter/Skilled Cabinet Builder/Fabricator.
• Aptitude for precision and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings.
• Experience utilizing common hand tool and power tools.
• Ability to effectively communicate and function in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with HDPL a plus.

What We Offer

• A competitive salary of $55,000 per year.
• Benefit eligibility after 30 days of employment.
• $100 allowance for approved safety shoes/glasses per year.
