Law Enforcement Specialist

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the position of Military Police in the U.S. Army. As a Military Police, you will play a crucial role in enforcing laws and regulations on Army installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrolling Army installations to maintain order and ensure the safety of personnel and property.
• Investigating crimes and gathering evidence to bring perpetrators to justice.
• Providing traffic control and crowd management services as needed.
• Arresting and charging suspects who have committed crimes.

Requirements:

To be eligible for this position, applicants must be able to pass a series of tests known as the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery. This will help identify their strengths and match them with the best available jobs in the Army.

Training:

Military Police undergo 20 weeks of rigorous training at One Station Unit Training. This includes both classroom instruction and hands-on experience in police methods.

• Basic warrior skills and the safe handling of firearms.
• Military and civilian laws and jurisdiction.
• Investigating and collecting evidence.
• Traffic and crowd control.
• Arresting and restraining suspects.
