The Pharmacy Technician Trainee plays a vital role in assisting pharmacists in providing safe and effective pharmaceutical care. As a trainee, you will participate in various aspects of pharmacy practice under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and contribute to the pharmacy team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare medication orders and receive prescriptions
- Complete required paperwork and assist with billing
- Stock medication and deliver medication to patients
- Support patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
- Communicate effectively with caregivers and stakeholders
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program
- Apply for Pharmacy Technician Trainee License within 4 weeks of hire date and obtain within 8 weeks of hire
- Demonstrated basic computer skills and attention to detail
- Customer service experience
