Donation Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Attendant to join our team at The Salvation Army Thrift Stores. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in receiving and sorting donations, ensuring that our stores are well-stocked and our customers have a great shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities- Donation Processing: Receive and sort donations efficiently and properly according to The Salvation Army's policies and procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for defects and damages, ensuring that only high-quality items are sold in our stores.
- Product Identification: Identify products correctly and direct them to the proper department for processing.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow safety measures established and maintained by The Salvation Army's policies and government regulations.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred, but not required.
- Skills: Ability to follow instructions, previous experience in the thrift industry is a plus.
- Physical Demands: Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
