Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Senior Manager to become a vital part of our Valuation Advisory Services division.
Work Environment:
CohnReznick operates as a hybrid firm, with most professionals situated within a reasonable distance from one of our offices. This role is designated as remote, meaning job responsibilities do not necessitate proximity to a CohnReznick office location. However, remote employees may need to attend an office for client engagements, team meetings, or training sessions with prior notice.

Your Responsibilities:
Key duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide expert technical support related to fair value reporting estimates to the assurance practice, including reviewing third-party and management-prepared valuations for financial reporting and preparing documentation for fair value measurements under various accounting standards.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of technical reviews, coordinating efforts across multiple service lines while adhering to best practice guidelines from relevant regulatory bodies.
- Lead valuation engagement teams for external client deliverables, focusing on business and intangible assets for various financial, tax, regulatory, and management planning purposes.
- Effectively communicate and manage firm risk associated with engagements.
- Collaborate closely with engagement teams to swiftly identify and resolve issues.
- Train, supervise, and mentor junior staff on technical fair value concepts, testing, and documentation, serving as the primary contact on engagements and leading client meetings.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating knowledge and confidence while working collaboratively with multiple teams or independently.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships across firm service lines.
- Work closely with senior management within the Valuation Advisory Practice.
- Achieve or surpass targeted billing hours (utilization).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, engineering, or mathematics; a Master's degree is advantageous.
- Minimum of 10+ years of senior-level third-party valuation review experience at a large public accounting firm, including resolving complex technical issues related to fair value measurements.
- Possession of ASA, CPA/CVA, or a related valuation credential is mandatory; CFA is a plus.
- Strong technical background in business combination and private equity fair value reporting, with significant fair value review experience.
- Current knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, IFRS, SEC Reporting, transaction advisory services, or mergers and acquisitions.
- Experience in valuing debt and equity structures, including complex structures with preferred, common, convertible, and contingent securities is beneficial.
- Familiarity with modeling in Microsoft Excel and VBA, MathWorks MATLAB, Oracle Crystal Ball, S&P Capital IQ, and Bloomberg is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership, recruitment, training, and mentoring skills.
- Capability to work on all client service deliverables.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
