I. POSITION SUMMARY
The Logistics Center Associate III plays a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the KSEA framework. As a subject matter expert, this individual is proficient in executing advanced SAP transactions and managing intricate operational workflows. Collaboration across departments is a key responsibility of this position.
II. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Proficient experience with SAP is essential.
- Ability to work autonomously is required.
- Advanced proficiency in computer applications, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Capable of contributing effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills to engage with various organizational levels.
- Reliable and consistent attendance is expected.
- Punctuality is crucial.
III. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- This position necessitates frequent movement, including standing, sitting, bending, walking, reaching, grasping, packing, lifting, pulling, and pushing.
- Must be able to regularly lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Occasional lifting of items between 30-75 lbs is required, with assistance.
- Occasional pushing/pulling of loads up to 320 lbs on casters, with assistance, is necessary.
- Ability to use a warehouse ladder for accessing shelves is required.
- Must be capable of operating a manual pallet jack.
- Proficiency in using standard office equipment (computers, copiers, etc.) is essential.
B. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, the Logistics Center Associate III will actively champion all LEAN and Continuous Improvement initiatives, demonstrating a high level of engagement. Responsibilities include:
- Implementing 5S methodologies.
- Managing the Idea Board.
- Conducting audits.
- Developing Visual Control Systems.
- Facilitating compliance and execution of process enhancements.
- As the department's subject matter expert, providing training to new associates.
- Assisting in the creation and processing of work instructions.
- Taking on increased responsibilities as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
