Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES MFG LP. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Efficient Procedures: Design and maintain effective procedures and processes to ensure seamless warehouse operations.
  • Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with the Director of Logistics Operations to establish and achieve departmental goals, provide metrics, and analyze data to inform decision-making.
  • Manage Labor and Resources: Oversee labor management, seasonal labor planning, material handling, and ensure all company policies and procedures are communicated and followed.
  • Customer Service and Relations: Directly interact with internal and external customers on service issues and damage complaints, visiting customers as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement and drive continuous improvement processes and change management to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Establish and maintain good working relationships with other departments, assist Inventory Control to maintain high inventory accuracy, and develop and mentor employees to improve managerial bench strength.
  • Safety and Compliance: Manage safety and housekeeping procedures to ensure a clean, safe working environment, and exercise disciplined expense control on all operational activities.
  • Facility Management: Oversee facility management, including preventive maintenance and repairs.
Requirements
  • 10+ Years of Logistics Experience: Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, fulfillment, shipping/receiving, and warehousing.
  • 5+ Years of Managerial Experience: Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in performance metrics, process improvement, change management, and Lean methodologies.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management.
  • Strong Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
