Machinist Instructor

We are seeking an experienced instructor to teach metal machining and fabrication. The selected candidate will develop and deliver a range of courses, including CNC machining, manual machining, welding, and sheet metal fabrication.

• Develop and instruct courses in metal machining and fabrication
• Mentor staff outside of training courses
• Utilize sound judgment, interpersonal skills, and technical expertise

• TS/SCI (with Poly) clearance
• Strong computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) and machining theory background
• Demonstrated expertise in programming and operating CNC mills and lathes
• Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software

• Ability to obtain SolidWorks Professional Certification within 6 months
• Formal experience in adult education
• Professional interest in emerging technologies
