Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diagnostic equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diagnostic equipment, including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of customer issues.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in diagnostic equipment and related technologies.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree or equivalent military experience.
  • 1-year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to lift, lower, and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, turn, crouch/crawl, push/pull, and sit/stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years' experience in advanced troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications, and/or service repair.
  • Developing positive business relationships with internal and external stakeholders, leading to increased customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Technical college major in biomed, engineering, or related field.
