Position Overview

We are in search of a Bilingual Localization Quality Assurance Tester who possesses a meticulous attention to detail and a passion for Linguistics or Translation. This role is set within a diverse cultural environment.

Applicants must demonstrate native fluency in one of the following target languages:

Korean, French (Canada), Polish, or Portuguese (Portugal).

As part of our team, you will engage in comprehensive linguistic and functional evaluations of localized software applications and websites. Your responsibilities will include identifying, analyzing, and documenting bugs to ensure our client delivers products of exceptional quality.

Job Details
  • Position type: Hourly, non-exempt
  • Employment type: W2 payroll
  • Work schedule: 6-8 hours daily (operating hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm)
  • Compensation: 33 USD per hour, bi-weekly payment
  • Work setting: Onsite
Candidate Requirements

Essential Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Native proficiency in the specified target language
- Cultural familiarity with the target language
- Regular engagement with the target language
- Proficient typing skills in the target language using a local keyboard

Preferred Skills and Experience
- Familiarity with iOS products, services, and features is advantageous
- Highly organized with a strong focus on detail and quality
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
- Culturally aware with sound judgment regarding suitable content for the target audience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable to changing project requirements
- Quick to learn new concepts

Desirable Experience
- Background in journalism, copy editing, marketing, or editing
- Experience in translation, editing, and proofreading
