Job Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team at Maarif School. As a key member of our facilities staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of classrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing restrooms, and dusting surfaces
  • Regularly clean windows, shampoo carpets, and restock restroom supplies
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs and addressing small repairs
  • Handle spills and other hazards promptly to ensure the safety of students and staff
  • Secure the building by locking doors and ensuring all areas are properly cleaned at the end of the day
  • Report cleaning activities and notify the manager of any significant repairs needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of experience in janitorial services, preferably in a school or similar environment
  • A valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from work
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Excellent stamina and physical health to perform manual tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, hard-working attitude
