Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and adjust plant functions, including chemical systems, water usage, and equipment efficiencies, to optimize production.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of plant layout and operations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures related to safety, environmental issues, and quality control.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a safe and healthy work environment and achieve team goals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment failures and downtime.
  • Provide excellent documentation of work tasks and contribute to the overall record-keeping effort.
  • Ensure that all work tasks are properly logged and tracked in our official work order system.
  • Strive to deliver high-quality work that meets the needs of our production team and facility customers.
  • Manage inventory of parts and supplies, ordering replacements as needed.
  • Maintain open communication with colleagues and supervisors through regular radio updates.
