Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs to meet the needs of our perioperative nursing staff, including orientation, competency-based training, and continuing education.
  • Collaborate with content experts to develop educational activities that meet the needs of our learners.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide feedback to staff on their performance and identify areas for professional development.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to nursing education.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in nursing education and apply this knowledge to our educational programs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that educational programs are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice required.
  • Certification in Perioperative Nursing (CNOR) or other relevant certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in perioperative nursing and education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Certification in Adult Education or other relevant certifications.
  • Experience in curriculum development and implementation.
  • Experience in evaluating the effectiveness of educational programs.
