Dialysis Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Part-Time Dialysis Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a Part-Time Dialysis Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our dialysis center.

• Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient care, including receiving patients into treatment, weighing patients, taking vital signs, and documenting patient information.
• Dialysis Machine Operation: Set up and monitor dialysis machines, respond to alarms, and make adjustments as needed to ensure proper functioning.
• Patient Data Collection: Collect and report patient data, including monitoring vascular accesses, documenting patient observations, and reporting patient parameters to registered nurses.
• Clinical Support: Assist registered nurses with patient care, including initiating dialysis, reviewing dialysis prescriptions, and documenting patient information.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Previous experience in healthcare, preferably in dialysis or a related field, is preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
• Certifications: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification is preferred.
