Police Cadet

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Police Cadet to join our team at the City of Redondo Beach, CA. As a Police Cadet, you will provide administrative support to our law enforcement team and assist with various tasks related to public safety.

• Provide administrative support to the Police Department, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of police facilities and vehicles.
• Process Livescan fingerprint applications and direct traffic as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors or department personnel.

• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of appointment.
• Possession of a valid California Driver License.
• Current enrollment in a two-year college or four-year university, with a minimum of twelve (12) semester units and a GPA of 2.0 or better.

This is a part-time position that requires irregular hours, including holidays and weekends. The selected candidate must be able to work effectively with the public and establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
