We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Health Nurse to join our team at Mission Regional Medical Center. As an Employee Health Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate employee annual physical examinations, new hire physical clearances, and workers compensation issues as requested by Human Resources.
- Provide emergency evaluation for work-related injuries, assure cost-effective coordination of treatment, referral to preferred providers, and collaborate with management in development of objectives for employee health services compatible with goals and objectives of the hospital.
- Document accurately and help to maintain required confidential employee and administrative records.
- Perform safety rounds to ensure safety practices are adhered to within all hospital departments in order to maintain a safe environment for patients, physicians, volunteers, visitors, and hospital employees.
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in acute care nursing required.
- Previous experience in employee health, infection control, or occupational health strongly preferred.
