Job Summary:

We are looking for a Critical Care Travel Nurse to work in our Cardiac Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in CVICU and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Cardiac Care Unit
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
Requirements:
  • GA License
  • 2 years of experience in CVICU
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • NIH preferred
  • Electronic documentation skills
Unit Details:
  • 18-bed Cardiac Care Unit with an average census of 16
  • Hybrid unit with acute, intermediate, and intensive care level of care patients
  • Unit systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
  • Scrub color: Navy Blue
