Kingstree, United States Broadstep Full time
About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team at Broadstep, Inc. in Kingstree, SC. As an RBT, you will work closely with autistic children in a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility setting, implementing and evaluating behavioral health plans developed by a supervising Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your key responsibilities will include providing 1-on-1 direct care to children with autism, managing an average caseload of 4-8 children, teaching daily living and social skills using evidence-based treatments and positive reinforcement, establishing relationships with children to assess their interests and motivators, and directly implementing skill acquisition and behavior intervention plans written by a supervising BCBA.

In this role, you will also collect accurate data for all treatment plans and behavior programs, which will then be provided to the BCBA for analysis. You will serve in a direct care role, consulting the BCBA regularly for additional support, training, and supervision. Additionally, you will adjust interventions and/or intervention methods as instructed by the supervising BCBA when necessary, maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of each intervention and plan in place for each client on your caseload and those on assigned teams, and maintain RBT credentials by completing the RBT Competency Assessment annually as per BACB guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABA therapy, working with individuals with autism in a supervised setting. You will possess excellent communication skills for speaking with clients' families and writing session notes, confident interpersonal skills for interactions with the clients' families, and be a motivated team player with patience and professionalism. You must also have valid Driver's license/reliable access to transportation.

This is a full-time position working onsite, with both AM (7AM-4PM) and MID (11AM-8PM) schedules available, rotating so you have every other weekend off. The salary for this role is approximately $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will receive a competitive total compensation package with benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement savings program, life insurance, paid holidays, and free CPR, first aid, and job-specific training opportunities.
