Position Overview:
Title: Project Engineer
Employment Type: Full-Time Direct Hire

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Proficiency in electrical component selection
- Ability to interpret electrical specification documents and datasheets
- Experience in creating and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Competence in reading and drafting electrical schematics
- Experience in developing technical documentation such as manuals and specifications

Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to interpret basic mechanical drawings
- A minimum of 3 years of project management or development experience in a high-voltage components manufacturing environment (e.g., OBC, Inverter, DC-DC Converter, PDU)
- Background in electrical hardware manufacturing and testing, with a focus on power electronics design being advantageous
- Experience in electronic hardware manufacturing and testing

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and develop product concepts for power distribution using the WE ICS product portfolio to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Assume technical responsibility for product development from concept to series production of high-voltage assemblies (60V-1000V) for power distribution products.
- Create block diagrams and electrical circuit diagrams.
- Select appropriate Bills of Materials.
- Organize and execute sub-projects with internal and external partners.
- Develop technical requirements for production.
- Formulate specifications while considering technical requirements management.
- Determine project specifications by analyzing product design, customer needs, and performance standards.
- Provide technical leadership to the sales team during the project acquisition phase.
- Prepare and deliver customer concept presentations.
- Offer product consultation for customers regarding complete power distribution system design, protection, and control design.
- Travel as necessary to support sales and marketing efforts.
