Job Overview

Onsite Women's Health is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms for the detection of breast cancers and lesions.
  • Prepare patients for the mammographic procedure and explain procedures to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
  • Move mammographic equipment to specific positions and adjust controls to set exposure factors based on knowledge of radiographic exposure techniques and protocols.
  • Practice radiation protection techniques by using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding skills.
  • Follow prescribed safety standards in operating all required equipment.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in mammography.
  • ARRT certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent patient communication skills.
