Assembler II Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembler II to join our production team at UFP Industries. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fabricating component parts and assembling finished products according to customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete work area setup and ensure a safe and clean working environment
  • Fabricate and assemble component parts in accordance with quality standards
  • Operate presses and machinery, as well as hand tools, to complete the assembly process
  • Stack completed products and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Perform pre-shift/startup equipment inspection and report any issues
  • Maintain production records and perform basic TPM on equipment
  • Check materials and finished products for compliance with standards
  • Participate in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least 6 months of experience assembling components or specialty products
  • Working knowledge of basic math
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
