About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team at Dialysis Clinic, Inc. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to patients with chronic kidney disease.

Responsibilities
  • Pre-Treatment Preparation: Ensure the dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies are properly prepared and meet quality standards.
  • Treatment Administration: Perform hemodialysis treatments in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
  • Patient Education and Training: Provide ongoing education, training, and health coaching to patients to ensure they understand their treatment and care plan.
  • Monitoring and Assessment: Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physicians and families.
  • Medication Administration: Administer and chart all prescribed medications as directed.
  • Infection Control: Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews to ensure continuity of care.
  • Documentation: Document required patient education efforts and treatment outcomes.
  • Leadership: Lead a small patient care team and contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed.
