Located in Nashville, Tennessee, TriStar Skyline Medical Center is a 250+ bed facility that offers a wide range of medical services. As a Registered Nurse on our Inpatient Rehabilitation team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and make a meaningful impact on their care.
About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Tennessee or an appropriate compact state and strong communication skills. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, but not required. Our team works collaboratively with medical providers to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers nursing care to patients on the inpatient rehabilitation unit. Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing patient condition during admission and each shift to identify and report any changes in status
- Performing procedures as ordered by the medical provider
- Documenting administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner
- Administering prescribed medications and monitoring response
Maintaining knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients is also essential to this role.
