Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a State Farm Agent Team Member. As a member of our agency, you will have the opportunity to experience first-hand what it takes to be a successful State Farm Agent. You will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products, including auto, home, and life insurance.
Responsibilities
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed.
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
- Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
Requirements
- Sales experience, preferably outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing.
- Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas.
- Enthusiasm about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams.
- Self-motivated.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to make presentations to potential customers.
- Ability to conduct interviews in the office and in customers' homes or businesses.
- Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain).
- Life and Health license (must be able to obtain).
