Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Laboratory. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. This will include admitting, recovering, and discharging patients from the lab, as well as providing follow-up care. The nurse will also be responsible for evaluating patient outcomes, consulting with other healthcare professionals as needed, and adjusting nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Additionally, the nurse will perform head-to-toe assessments on all patients, reassessments as per policy, and utilize pain management techniques using age-appropriate interventions. The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing situations and prioritizing tasks accordingly. They will also maintain accurate records of patient care and communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of care. A strong understanding of cardio-respiratory systems and the ability to assess and treat appropriately is essential for this role.

Requirements
Candidates must possess a diploma in registered nursing and have at least one year of experience in cardiovascular care. They must also hold Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and be able to obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 60 months of employment start date. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also demonstrate initiative and take ownership of their work to ensure high-quality patient care.
