We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analysis and Reporting Course Director to join our faculty team at Full Sail University. As a Course Director, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Data Analysis and Reporting course, which focuses on using Microsoft Excel for common business purposes, including analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Mentoring: Create an environment of learning through effective teaching skills, maintain student-centered focus, and update curriculum to keep current and relevant to industry standards.
- Course Development: Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and encourage active learning. Create learning activities, including assignments, tests, quizzes, and labs, and assess student outcomes in a timely manner through effective assessment and constructive feedback to students to support the learning process.
- Course Delivery: Perform lectures for campus courses, and hold scheduled virtual course meetings for online courses. Teaching will be conducted through on-campus and online delivery.
- Student Support: Interact positively with diverse student populations; provide all students with equal opportunities for learning.
- Professional Development: Demonstrate a commitment to the industry, maintain knowledge and skill relevancy through continuing education as defined in the faculty development plan.
- Adherence to University Policies: Adheres to the policies and procedures of Full Sail University.
- Confidentiality: Maintains strict confidentiality of student and company information.
- Commitment to the Organization: Demonstrates a strong commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
- Attendance: Adheres to company attendance standards.
- Other Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.
Oversee associate course directors and lab specialists to ensure the integrity of curriculum and degree learning outcomes.
Requirements- Education: The ideal candidate must have a minimum of four (4) years related and verifiable work experience and required to hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Entertainment Business, Music Business, or related discipline, or at least 18 semester hours from an accredited college or university.
- Skills: Proficiency using software programs such as MS Word, Excel, Keynote/PowerPoint, and Outlook. Advanced knowledge of Excel formulas and functions, chart design, and pivot tables. Experience with data cleaning and validation. Proficiency with data storytelling. Experience in the entertainment industry. Working knowledge of current trends, companies, and roles in the entertainment industry.
