Job Title: Contracts/Procurement Manager

DHD Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Contracts/Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for negotiating contract terms, coordinating approvals, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate Contract Terms: Assist in negotiating contract terms from proposal stage to project close-out in accordance with relevant regulations.
  • Coordinate Approvals: Coordinate approval of negotiations, contracts, and subcontracts with appropriate management staff.
  • Provide Contract Advice: Provide advice on and interpretation of contract requirements.
  • Review Solicitation Requests: Review solicitation requests to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Prepare Cost Proposals: Assist in preparation and reviews cost proposals including pricing and scheduling details, coordination of requirements and cost proposal risk assessment.
  • Prepare Consulting Agreements: Prepare consulting agreements.
  • Modify Contract Schedules: Modify contract schedules and participates in vendor reseller agreement negotiations when required.
  • Ensure Timely Processing: Ensure timely processing of technical reports and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with Program Managers: Coordinate with program managers to ensure contract requirements are fulfilled.
  • Develop Contract Administration Policy: Assist in the development of internal contract administration policy.
  • Provide Guidance and Work Leadership: Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced contracts administrators; may have formal supervisory responsibilities.
  • Maintain Current Knowledge: Maintain current knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices.
  • Participate in Special Projects: Participate in special projects.
Qualifications:
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, plus a minimum of eight years relevant experience, five of which must be related to FAR procurement or contracts administration OR Master's degree in Business Administration or related field, plus a minimum of six years relevant experience, five of which must be related to FAR or State procurement or contracts administration.
  • Knowledge and Familiarity: Must demonstrate knowledge and working familiarity with the FAR or State law and regulation.
  • Experience with Contract Types: Experience with multiple contract types, performance-based contracting and GSA is required.
Special Skills:
  • Good Analytical and Organizational Skills: Good analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to Perform Mathematical Calculations: Ability to perform mathematical calculations, to understand contract plans and specifications, organize information, and effectively utilize PC and applicable software.
