About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Support Specialist to join our team at Presbyterian Children's Homes and Services. In this role, you will provide case management services, support, and resources necessary to help families referred by the Family Treatment Court achieve self-sufficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Possess critical thinking skills to identify areas of concern and help families develop SMART goals, find solutions, and work towards self-sufficiency.
  • Work closely with FTC personnel to obtain referrals and make initial contact with potential clients within 7 days.
  • Conduct initial assessments, develop culturally sensitive service plans that promote self-determination for families, and re-evaluate goals routinely.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of local resources and network opportunities, collaborating with agencies and individuals as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related human services discipline. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children and their families.
  • A thorough understanding of the child welfare system.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as Microsoft Office proficiency.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as flexible work schedules, paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance options, voluntary life insurance, paid holidays, and a generous retirement plan.
