As a prominent manufacturer of non-carbonated beverages, including juices and juice blends for both national and local markets, Johanna Beverage Company has an immediate opening for an "Off-Shift" Maintenance Technician. This facility operates around the clock, and our technicians are tasked with maintaining equipment efficiently. We seek individuals with a solid technical background and a proactive attitude suitable for a manufacturing setting.
This role is situated in a dynamic production environment, where Maintenance Technicians must be able to maintain pace, manage multiple tasks, and possess excellent communication skills. Ideal candidates should be self-driven, disciplined, and capable of working independently while also contributing to a team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Applicants must have experience with Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems, be proficient in interpreting schematics and blueprints, and be comfortable consulting equipment manuals as needed. Additional competencies include the ability to remain composed under pressure, Basic Safety knowledge, proficiency with Power Tools, Attention to Detail, and Adaptability. Previous experience in Industrial Manufacturing is highly desirable.
Reliable transportation is essential as public transit is not available. Candidates must successfully complete a background check, general physical examination, physical ability assessment, and drug screening. The Maintenance Department consists of various levels of mechanics, with compensation ranging from $20 to $27 per hour, based on experience and competencies as evaluated through proficiency testing and interviews.
