Core Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the correct selection, dosing, and dispensing of medication orders.
  • Evaluating medication orders to identify and resolve potential drug-related issues.
  • Compounding and dispensing medications accurately for patient delivery.
  • Providing drug information and education to healthcare staff and patients.
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to enhance patient care.
  • Supervising pharmacy technicians in medication preparation and dispensing.
  • Participating in educational activities, including mentoring pharmacy students.
  • Providing coverage for pharmacy needs as required.
  • Delivering effective patient counseling when necessary.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Licensure: A valid Pharmacist license from the Florida Board of Pharmacy is required prior to employment.

Educational Background
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Pharmacy is mandatory.
