We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at North Suburban Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues. Your expertise will be essential in helping our medical team diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues
- Position patients to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures
- Administer contrast materials as needed to enhance image quality
- Prepare and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient imaging procedures
- Graduate of a 24-month AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT
- 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience, with a preference for CT experience
- Strong knowledge of CT procedures and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
