Job Title: Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician to join our team at Stealth. As a Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat patients as appropriate.
  • Order lab, x-ray, and other diagnostic tests.
  • Document necessary information in patients' medical charts.
  • Provide patient education and suggest follow-up care.
  • Write referrals for specialty care and/or additional testing as needed.
  • Work with insurances to get authorization.
  • Use AED equipment as needed.
  • Responsible for initial reads on X-rays.
  • Follow-ups with patients who have abnormal labs, x-ray, or other diagnostic test results.
  • Complete all required paperwork.
  • Suture patients as needed within Medical Access's guidelines.
  • Administer prescriptions and stay updated on latest pharmaceutical developments.
  • Stay updated on continuing education requirements and strive to further develop physician competence.
  • Coordinate with companies regarding worker injury cases.
  • Assist with marketing and promoting the medical practice.
  • Understand and follow HIPAA regulations.
  • Attend meetings as scheduled.
Requirements:
  • Board-certified or Board Eligible in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
  • Current licenses (Maryland/Virginia, CDS, DEA).
  • Current with CME as required by Maryland/Virginia.
  • Minimum of one-year experience preferably in an urgent care facility or primary care physician's office.
  • Understanding of CPT codes and ICD coding.
  • Understanding of OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
  • Certification in ACLS.
  • Excellent and effective verbal communication skills.
  • Customer service-oriented attitude and behavior.
Working Conditions:

This position requires light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for sedentary work.

The constant stress and strain of maintaining a production rate pace can be physically demanding, even though the amount of force exerted is negligible.

Participate in and coordinate with organizational processes to collect and evaluate information about hazards and safety practices.

Adhere to established policies and procedures, which may include wearing personal protective equipment.

Participate in and foster an approach to continuously improving quality, including intradepartmental and interdepartmental activities.

Have knowledge of clinical interventions and equipment necessary to meet the specific needs of the patient population.
